Learn about The Jewish Agency for Israel

In 1929, The Jewish Agency for Israel was formed and soon came under the leadership of David Ben-Gurion. The man who later became Israel’s first Prime Minister led as Chairman of The Jewish Agency and founded the state of Israel in the Promised Land.

For almost 100 years, The Jewish Agency has built the land and people of Israel, given physical, financial, and emotional support to Jewish immigrants in communities throughout Israel and worked to uplift all of Israel’s vulnerable in light of the vision of the prophets. The modern State of Israel would not exist without the work of this organization.

Today, Christians around the world recognize the prophetic and biblical significance of Israel’s rebirth as a modern nation. Scriptures foretold that this miracle would restore the Jewish people from exile across the globe and God would bring them home. When Israel was reborn in 1948, it proved to the world that God’s Word is alive and true.

Now Christians have an incredible opportunity to be part of God’s unfolding prophetic plan, to bless the Jewish people and strengthen the State of Israel. We invite you to stand together with Zion and become a Christian Friend of The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Major General (Res.) Doron Almog

Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, the Chairman of the Executive of The Jewish Agency for Israel as of August 2022, has a storied history as a leader in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and as a social activist. In 2016 he received the Israel Prize, the country’s highest honor for lifetime achievement.

Danielle Mor

Director of Christian Friends of The Jewish Agency and Vice President for Israel and Global Philanthropy
The Jewish Agency for Israel

Danielle has worked at The Jewish Agency for more than 20 years, and currently serves as the founding Director of Christian Friends of The Jewish Agency and as Vice President for Israel and Global Philanthropy.

In her roles, Danielle is responsible for building bridges of friendships and meaningful partnerships between Christian friends of Israel and The Jewish Agency, while working closely in program strategy and implementation with other units of The Jewish Agency.

Rabbi Jay Weinstein

Rabbi Jay Weinstein serves as the Director of Christian Friends of The Jewish Agency, where he is responsible for fostering bridges of friendship and meaningful partnerships between Christian supporters of Israel and The Jewish Agency.

In this role, he collaborates closely with various units across the organization to develop and implement strategic programs.

Dvora Ganani

Goodwill Ambassador to the Christian World
The Jewish Agency for Israel

Dvora is currently working as The Jewish Agency’s Goodwill Ambassador to the Christian world. She and her team work to fulfill the main mission of The Jewish Agency: helping bring Jews to Israel (make Aliyah) and working to fulfill the Biblical prophecies of the ingathering of the exiles and a return to Zion.

Her current position takes her to Christian communities around the world, where she is enhancing existing bonds of friendship and also making new friends for Israel.
